Thank you for all the heartfelt prayers and thoughts. My son, My Marine, My Hero is the pinacle of one person grandstanding Johnny's death. I vow today to make all these untruths come to pass. I have had enough of this and Johnny's memory must be made truthfull. I am Johnny's MOM! I have raised him since his father and me divorced when he was 2 years old. I raised a fine young man who loved God, family and himself. He made a commitment to His Country and in the end gave himself. I will no longer entertain this silliness that someone other than myself raised John!
I have my son in my heart daily. I know Him from being there 24/7 for 19 years. All the silly postings in the world will never change the truth!
Johnny's brother Cris, His sister Cassie and baby brother Jake will always be there to share His legacy - because we are family. That is the truth and I (again) will stand to uphold my first born's legacy!!!
Onward,
Kristine A. Mason

Hi Tony & Naomi,
Thanks for forwarding me this website. I am honored to light a candle for JT. I can't find the words that can express to you both, just how sorry I am for this painful loss. Although it will never be life as you knew it before, in time, somehow someway it will get easier. I think of you guys often, and certainly keep you in my prayers. Please give Erica a big hug from me, as I know this has been a great loss for her as well. I know how much Erica thought of JT, and he of her. I am always here for you, and if there is anything I can do, please just let me know.
Love to You,
