Cid was one of best men I have ever had the privilege to know. I learned many things from him that include, but not limited to, being a good corpsman, being a leader of men, speaking with integrity, being a good friend, and how to be a man. He was great man. I enjoy telling "Cid Story's" with friends that knew him. Thanks Cid for all the life lessons, the good memories, and for always having good advise for me when I needed it. Every Guinness is still for you Paul Feely

To one of my best and most memorable students. I was Cesar's military advisor and instructor while he was in Hospital Corps School. I think I learned as much from him as a former marine as I passed to him as a teacher.

Cesar- You will be missed brother.

I was stationed with HM2 Baez back in 1995 at Camp Pendleton. He was my Senior Corpsman and I never forgot how he lead by example. I look up to him still to this day.HM2 Baez, you always gave 100% and then some. Rest in Peace and thank you for making me want to do better.

Cesar was my cousin. he used to carry me when i was a baby. I'm just sorry that he wont be able to see his three beautiful girls and especially his unborn baby boy grow up to be wonderful human beings just as he was. Cesar, you are a true hero and your family will be taken care of. I promise you that. Love you always and miss you forever.

Rest in peace sid.
